Welcome to writ2.me! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the writ2.me mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by GenZ Apps ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using writ2.me, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

1.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use writ2.me. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

1.2 Account Creation

• Google Sign-In: You may create an account using your Google account credentials.
• Guest Access: You may use writ2.me as a guest without creating a permanent account. Guest accounts are automatically deleted after 60 days of inactivity.
• Username: You must choose a unique username that complies with our Community Guidelines.

1.3 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

2. Acceptable Use

2.1 Permitted Use

You may use writ2.me to:

• Send and receive anonymous messages
• Create and share message templates
• Interact with the platform's features in accordance with these Terms

2.2 Prohibited Conduct

• Harassment & Bullying: Send messages intended to harass, threaten, intimidate, or bully any person.
• Hate Speech: Post content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Illegal Content: Share content that is illegal, promotes illegal activities, or violates any laws.
• Explicit Content: Send sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene content.
• Impersonation: Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or organization.
• Spam: Send unsolicited bulk messages, advertisements, or promotional content.
• Malicious Content: Distribute viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
• Self-Harm: Promote, encourage, or glorify self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
• Minors: Target, exploit, or harm minors in any way.
• Privacy Violation: Share another person's private or personal information without consent.
• System Abuse: Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or circumvent our security measures.
• Scraping: Use automated tools to scrape, collect, or extract data from the Service.
• Interference: Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service.

3. Anonymous Messaging

3.1 Understanding Anonymity

3.2 Message Content

• You are solely responsible for the content of all messages you send.
• We do not pre-screen messages but reserve the right to review, monitor, and remove content that violates these Terms.
• Messages may be encrypted, but we may decrypt and review them if necessary for safety or legal compliance.

3.3 Reporting Abuse

If you receive abusive, harassing, or illegal messages:

• Report the message through the in-app reporting feature.
• Block the sender to prevent future messages.
• Contact us at support@writ2.me for serious violations.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and content, is owned by GenZ Apps and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials
• Use our trademarks without written permission
• Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices

4.2 Your Content

• You retain ownership of the messages and content you create.
• By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
• This license ends when you delete your content or account, subject to reasonable backup retention periods.

5. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using writ2.me, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

6. Termination

6.1 By You

• You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
• Guest accounts are automatically deleted after 60 days of inactivity.

6.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines
• You engage in illegal activity or abuse the Service
• We are required to do so by law
• Your account poses a security or safety risk
• Your account remains inactive for an extended period

6.3 Effect of Termination

• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
• We may delete your account data in accordance with our data retention policies.
• Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

7. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will meet your requirements or expectations
• Messages will always be delivered or received
• User-generated content is accurate, safe, or appropriate
• The Service is completely secure or free from viruses

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GENZ APPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or similar harmful code transmitted through the Service
• Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your use of any content posted or shared via the Service
• User conduct or content, including any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the past six months, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GenZ Apps, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
• Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service

10. Advertising

The Service may display advertisements from third-party advertisers. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or opinions expressed in such advertisements. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We do not endorse and are not responsible for:

• The availability or accuracy of such websites/services
• The content, products, or services available from such websites/services
• Your use of any third-party websites/services

12. Changes to the Service

• Impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service

We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

• Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service should first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GenZ Apps regarding the Service.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

15.5 No Agency

No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship is created between you and GenZ Apps by these Terms.
